Compared to the 7 Day Forecast, the Event Weather Live Weather Conditions product is tailored for those of you who require exact current weather for your location. The service provides the following weather parameters:
- Current Temperature
- Humidity
- Dew Point Temperature
- Wind Speed and Direction
The Live Weather Conditions product is updated every 30 minutes, making sure that you receive the very latest weather conditions. When used in combination with our 12 Month Precast and 7 Day Forecast products, the collective aim of Event Weather is to provide information that will engage and assist our users.
Locations
Event Weather provides Live Weather Conditions for over 400 locations across Australia, China, Malaysia and Singapore. We are continually updating our list of locations and expect to grow this feature to include other parts of South-East Asia, New Zealand and the Middle East by the end of 2011.
In addition, we are also focusing on providing 'Australian Suburban Live Weather Conditions' for the top 100 suburbs around Australia by 2013. This service will target users who require exact and critical weather updates for their confined geographical area.
Hourly Weather Forecast
How great would it be to get an hourly weather forecast? Want to know the exact weather conditions for a day out at the races, day at the cricket, holiday out of town? Now you can!
Soon Event Weather will be launching a fully customised 'Hourly Weather Forecast' service as an off-shoot of both our 7 Day Forecast and Live Weather Conditions. This product will be extremely useful for almost anyone wanting to know exactly what the weather conditions will be for each hour, up to 96 hours in advance. You will be able to determine sky conditions, temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, UV index and precipitation.
The product will initially service Australian locations but soon incorporate Asia with New Zealand and the Middle East coming online soon thereafter.
The applications of this service will be immense, so stay tuned for its release by mid 2011.
